Security and governance
Security and governance
Understand the controls, responsibilities and evidence to review for an ADOM engagement.
Security reviewers and decision-makers
Security is part of the delivery conversation
ADOM includes security review and evidence workflows alongside application development. These help teams organize findings and assess readiness throughout delivery. Confidence comes from the controls and results of the actual environment: who has access, where approved information is processed, which checks ran and who accepted the remaining risk.
Review three boundaries
| Boundary | What to examine |
|---|---|
| The ADOM project environment | Workspace access, approved inputs, AI services, activity records and retention arrangements |
| Connected systems | Approved operations, scoped identities, source ownership and network access |
| The delivered application | Authentication, authorization, configuration, dependencies, hosting and operating controls |
Build a clear responsibility model
AutoBridge and the customer should identify which controls are supplied by the platform, which depend on the hosting environment and which are operated by the customer. Review the model when scope or deployment changes. Shared responsibility should result in named owners, not an assumption that another party has completed the work.
A useful security review package
- The proposed deployment and data-flow description.
- Identity, access and administrative responsibilities.
- Approved data categories and processing arrangements.
- The scope, date and result of relevant security testing.
- Open findings, mitigations and decisions by the authorized owner.
- Operational monitoring, incident and recovery arrangements.
What this documentation establishes
This guide explains the product’s customer-facing workflow and questions to resolve during an engagement. It is not a security attestation, a certification or an authorization for a particular environment.
